Aaron Freeman (Gene Ween) was kind enough to mention me in his recent Newsweek interview.
His new album will be released in July. This record rocks.

Was fooling around with my trusty ARP 2600 and started patching around it's filter section; I routed the audio into an old, beat-up Korg VCF pedal. Since the S&H circuit on this thing is broken too I used my Moogerfooger CP-251 instead (but used the noise generator from the ARP for a sampling source). The CV from the Moog is driving the Korg and voila! Korg-ARP-a-Moog!
OK, technically it's a KorgARP but later I used my Moogerfooger filter instead.....

Here's one of the videos.....
Weezer's Blue Album turns 20 today. To say that I'm proud of this record would be an understatement…
Stereogum Article
While getting my discography together for this website I came across this video for the Ted Leo and the Pharmacists record I did a while ago. It sounds much better than I remember which is always a pleasant surprise....
Great 70's / Thin Lizzy style three piece from Ireland. I finished mixing this record last year for Rubyworks records. Loud and in your face. Definitely disturbed the neighbors while mixing this....
HIgh Volume Listening a must.....

This is a great record that I mixed earlier this year. Melodic, dynamic, moody - all the things that make for a great record.
Check it out here on Spotify.
The mix room is starting to come together now with a few more panels up and some gear unpacked. Next project is to do some serious modding to the Wuli to remove some hum and make the vibrato a bit more flexible.
Just set up the Wurli after being packed for the move from Brooklyn. It survived unscathed. Had to hardwire in a new AC cable because the original socket had disintegrated.
Also unpacked these babies too.
These were a Xmas present from my wife. -How cool is that?
Well, the box got a little crunched but look at what the postal lady brought me. S/N 24. Now, where did I put that 500 PSU? Thanks J. Morris and the folks at Western Dynamo!!!
After being packed up for months I finally introduced my ARP to it's new home in Texas. This is the first synthesizer I ever learned how to use and I bought this one in Sydney, Australia.
As of today I am being managed by David Bason at The MNGMT Company.
Did a quick bare-bones setup in the new place to do some quick edits for a client. This room will need a lot of treatment. I see more cloud building in my future....
